Alicia joined the Austin Banks team in January 2025, bringing a wealth of experience in account management, business development, marketing and events. Over the past two years, Alicia has honed her skills in sales and networking, making her a natural fit for her new role as a full-time Recruitment Consultant.
Known for her "gift of the gab," Alicia thrives in social settings and loves to connect with people. Whether it&rsquo;s building relationships with clients or networking in the industry, her passion for communication shines through.
Outside of work, Alicia enjoys relaxing with a glass of wine and loves to explore new destinations. With a goal to visit one or two new places each year, she&rsquo;s always seeking fresh experiences and adventures.
Alicia also has a secret obsession with pigs &ndash; in fact, if she won the lottery, she&rsquo;d open her very own pig sanctuary! Until then, you&rsquo;ll find her indulging in her favourite "death row" meal: a margarita pizza with garlic mayo.

Diaz joined the team to support us with all our office administration, compliance, and social media.&nbsp;
She has quickly progressed and is taking on more of an active role in our marketing strategy. As well as supporting the team and making sure we are all doing things right, she will be bringing you an insight into life at Austin Banks Recruitment,&nbsp;Diaz has some great ideas for our social media&hellip;watch out for our Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn posts!
Diaz is&nbsp;the baby of our team but keeps us all in check and is certainly wiser than her years! She has a great sense of humour and is a breath of fresh air, she is confident, funny, and willing to help everyone....We have a saying in our office "Be more Diaz"&nbsp;
When not at work Diaz is a social butterfly, going to gigs and festivals, she always has a good Monday morning story to tell from her weekend antics.

Jo has joined the business with a wealth of experience in Recruitment and has a "willing to do anything approach" She wears many hats in the office!&nbsp;
Starting her career &ldquo;a few years ago&rdquo; she spent many years working in finance recruitment and other industries, she has recruited at all levels from entry-level to senior management.
In 2011 Jo took a break from the recruitment world to raise her daughters and work on the family business, however, she decided 2024 was the year to return to recruitment&hellip;. something she has always loved!&nbsp;
Jo is very methodical in her approach, extremely helpful and passionate about the industry, she prides herself on building long-lasting relationships with clients and candidates.&nbsp;
In her spare time, Jo loves spending time with her family, travelling and exploring new places.&nbsp;
She also runs for fun! She has completed 2 marathons and the Great North Run twice and is hoping to secure a place this year.

With over 20 years of recruitment experience, Sommer has worked with some amazing organisations and truly inspirational people who invested time in helping Sommer pave her career, these people she will always be thankful for.&nbsp;&nbsp;
With a move down South when she was 19, Sommer found her way into the recruitment world and never looked back, working with clients who became friends and placing more candidates than she can remember&hellip;. to this day she is still just as passionate and driven.&nbsp;&nbsp;
Moving back &ldquo;UP NORTH&rdquo; some years later after a successful career in the south a position became available at Austin Banks recruitment a role that would change her career forever. She started as a Recruitment Consultant and after a few years, the opportunity arose to take over the business, going from a consultant to a business owner overnight. She successfully ran the business for 10 years while juggling being a mum to her young son and riding the recruitment roller-coaster.&nbsp;&nbsp;
When not working, Sommer is usually running around after her son who seems to think she is his personal taxi service! He plays rugby most weekends, so her time is taken up come rain or shine at the side of a pitch!&nbsp;
Sommer loves to travel and explore new places, but her favourite place is Thailand.&nbsp;
Sommer&rsquo;s dream job if she wasn&rsquo;t in recruitment&hellip;.she doesn&rsquo;t know she has done this for so long!&hellip;. Maybe something that involves travel or is near the beach and sea.

Tom joined Austin Banks with over seven years of experience in recruitment, working both temporary and permanent roles, he will be supporting clients and candidates across multiple industries.&nbsp;
Tom has a fantastic sense of humour and a constant flow of banter, being the only male in the office he has fitted in perfectly and loves being involved in all the "girl chat"!
Tom has a wealth of experience in recruitment and prides himself on building long-lasting relationships with clients and candidates. He has recently relocated from West Yorkshire and is still finding his feet in Doncaster.
Tom has a love for technical roles, especially CNC! He is methodical in his approach and very tenacious...Tom doesn't give up even when recruiting for the most difficult roles!&nbsp;
When not at work he likes to keep active, spending time with his partner and friends, he has 2 pugs called Skippy and Alfie and when not at the gym likes to be out socialising as he says&hellip;life is about balance.
